Lucky or frivolous?

Sometimes I just have to pinch myself.  Today for instance - it was one of those days that only happens every so often - deep blue skies, gentle breezes, a comfortable 70ish F, and views to die for.  My time in Phoenix the last 2 winters drives home the cold reality that not everyone has it this good, the ability to chase their dreams & passions.  Even in this affluent country, many folks are in survival mode, nose buried too far into the grindstone to see the view, too numb to even be aware of their passions.

The day rarely passes anymore that I don't realize how lucky I am.  Hell, I've seen the end of the rainbow and it's right out my front door.

You don't know what you're missing living in a congested east coast city. Riding in smog helps condition the lungs to work in a low oxygen enviroment.
BTW, sloppy number plate mount on the post below. Didn't I teach you anything. http://teamdicky.blog.com/526318/

That's a good title and food for some thought on a long ride.
